Explosion proof luminaires
Explosion proof LED luminaires are designed for operation in potentially explosive gas and dust environment, in accordance with the marking on them.
Explosion protection is ensured with the following protection types:
- “m” for encapsulation according to MEC 60079-18-2012
- “d” for flameproof protection according to IEC 60079-1-2013
- “e” for enhanced protection according to 3161.7 – 2012
- “t” for dust inflammation protection according to MEC 60079.31-2010
- Construction design of the luminaires complies with IEC 60079-0
